The Sherwood Island Pizza Rides

Who doesn't love riding and pizza? Let's do both from Sherwood Island State Park! Saturday, September 27th.
Our after ride reward is a catered lunch from the Old World Pizza Truck serving traditional New Haven gourmet pizza from wood fired ovens. Pizza will be available from 11:30a to 2:00p. There will be vegan and lactose-intolerant upon request.
Catered lunch is only $12.00 a person. You must RSVP by Saturday, September 20th! Registration is capped at 65 participants.
Parking is free for vehicles with Connecticut plates. Out-of-state riders will have a $22 admission charge. However, out of states plates can alternatively park for free at the Communter Parking Lot near Exit 18 located on the Sherwood Island Connector just north of I-95. From there it's a short ride to the park.
The rides will start from Sherwood Island State Park (close to I-95, exit 18), check the ride schedule for start times and routes. The rides will end back at the park.
If you are planning to both ride and partake in pizza, use both buttons above or below. First click on the RSVP button to reserve your spot and to make your payment. There will be no day of registration or payment accepted for the catered lunch. Please plan to pack your own lunch if not eating pizza. Once you finish the RSVP process, you can return here and click on the Ride Pre Registration button that will take you over to the familiar Rides Calendar. Rides are beginning to be listed.
Please do the event organizers a big favor by NOT waiting until the last minute to reserve for the pizza event. They need a count of participants.

We have been having some isssues with sign ups. RSVP is a 2 step process. First sign up for the Pizza and then be sure to choose CONFIRM RESERVATION AT THE BOTTOM AND THEN PAY THROUGH PAY PAL. Only confirm once. If you do not choose CONFIRM CONFIRMATION and pay, you show as pending. After paying a screen will pop up showing your payment. If you do not see this, you did not complete the reservation.
