Herb Wexler Memorial Rides and Potluck

Please join Kay Phelan on July 6th for the annual Herb Wexler Memorial Rides and Potluck. The picnic at Mary Lou and Steve Murphy's House will follow the scheduled rides between 12:30 pm 3:00p.

Sound Cyclists will provide burgers and dogs and beverages. We ask that everyone contribute a ready-to-eat prepared side, salad or dessert. Please do not make anything requiring heating. Refrigeration will be available for cold dishes needing storing. When registering add the potluck item you will be bringing. There is a field at the bottom of the registration form that says "What will you be bringing to the Potluck?" In the blank box, add what you will bring for the potluck. You will see what others are bringing.

RSVP and $12.00 payment will be required by all attending the potluck gathering. No walk ins will be permitted. Rides also require the standard pre registration process. You do not have to attend the picnic to ride. Conversely, you do not have to ride to attend the picnic.

The rides will start at Brien McMahon High School, 300 Highland Ave, Norwalk. Check the ride schedule for start times and routes. The rides will end at the picnic site located at Mary Lou and Steve Murphy's House, 7 Keeler Avenue, Norwalk, which is only .4 of a mile from the High School and has plenty of space for bicycles and/or parking if you are not riding and just attending the picnic.

Rides will be added to the Ride Schedule as Ride Leaders list them.

Important Parking Note: All rides begin out of Brien McMahon High School, 300 Highland Ave, Norwalk. The potluck picnic is located at Mary Lou and Steve Murphy's House, 7 Keeler Ave, Norwalk. You can leave your car at the High School and bike over or, if you so choose, you can park on Keeler Ave on the opposite side of the street facing toward Connecticut Ave. Alternatively, you can park on Primrose Ct, which is directly across from Keeler Ave - on the other side of Flax Hill Rd. DO NOT park in the driveway.
