Westchester Cycling Club (WCC) has an away ride trip to Lake Champlain Island on August 3 and August 4. WCC welcomes SCBC members to join this beautiful trip with flat rides. SCBC has a ride leader for the Saturday, August 3 Lake Champlain ride and you can pre-register for that ride by clicking on the button below. WCC has a ride leader to lead slower rides.
If you are interested in this away ride trip, you need to send an E-mail to Alan Sheiner by clicking on the Contact Information button below. Please register for the event via the Contact Information button below by July 10th. You should indicate which days (8/3, 8/4 or both days) you plan on riding and your preferred pace, along with which hotels you plan on using.
Headquarter Hotel
The headquarter hotel for this weekend will be the Marriott Fairfield Inn in Plattsburgh, New York. You are welcome to stay at any place you like for Friday/Saturday night. You book/pay for your own stays. You can send your questions and/or register for your ride by clicking the buttons below:

Adult Passenger, $5.25 per person; Senior (65+), $4.75 per person. We will MEET Friday and Saturday after dinner at Fairfield Inn (8pm ish) to help form pace groups and discuss route options for the next day.

Saturday Champlain Islands
Lake Champlain Ride promises to be an unforgettable experience, filled with scenic landscapes and the joy of exploring the beautiful region. With its flat and picturesque route, this ride offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the stunning views along Lake Champlain. For the August 3rd, the route is 62.6 miles, with less than 1,400 feet of climb. This is a social ride, not a race, and we will ride together and re-group when necessary. Please pre-register.

Sunday's Route
For Sunday (8/4) to Burlington (30 miles), we will watch a few of the Dragon boat races. Ride back it's a short ride on mostly gravel roads and a gravel path across the middle of Lake Champlain called the Island line beautiful views great experience if you haven't done it before it's worth the trip. WCC Ride Leader will lead the ride. Let me know if you are also planning to ride on Sunday and I will inform the WCC Ride Leader.
