314 Beer Garden
Who doesn't love riding and having a nice cold brewsky afterwards? Let's do both in South Norwalk at the 314 Beer Garden on Saturday, October 1st.
Rides will leave from W¨usthof Knives, 333 Wilson Ave, Norwalk. Note: The office sign from the street says 355. Entrance to the parking lot is on Meadow St Ext, which is just off Wilson Ave, Route 136 to the right of the building. After the ride, beer (and other beverages) and food will be available at 314 Beer Garden located at 314 Wilson Ave, Norwalk. There is limited parking at the Beer Garden so you'll need to walk the 4/10 mile, which takes about 8 minutes. Alternately, you could ride there but be mindful that we do not have a person assigned to watch our bikes. This is a no-charge event by the club since all drinks and food will be on your own at the Beer Garden. They are reserving a space for us. The club had to buy a few drink tickets to get the reserved space. Please look for Ron Tyson to get your ticket when you are at the Beer Garden. They are $7.50 each for beer, wine, cider or seltzer. Please try to bring exact change or small bills.
Bike and Beer Sign
We have a rain date of Sunday, October 2nd. The Beer Garden opens at noon on both Saturday and Sunday, so rides will be timed to get back shortly after that. There is an RSVP button below for the Beer Garden portion but there will be no charge. It's for the purposes of getting a head count to let the venue know how many members intend on coming. The club is not providing for any of the food and drink. You will be responsible for your own purchases. You still need to pre register for the rides like you normally do. There is also a pre registration button below that will take you over to the familiar Rides Calendar to sign up for a ride. Rides are beginning to be listed. We have also provided a button to access a map that shows the two venues in relationship to each other. For more information about the 314 Beer Garden, click here.
