Annual Meeting and Holiday Dinner

Sound Cyclists Bicycle Club will be holding its Annual Meeting and Holiday Dinner at the Stamford Yacht Club this year on Saturday, December 2nd from 6:00p – 10:00p.
The night starts with Artisan Cheese and Charcuterie with a cash bar. We will move into the dining room for dinner beginning with a Toasted Penne Salad followed by your choice of Pan Seared Salmon, Pan Seared Organic Chicken or a vegetarian option - Quinoa Tabouli Grilled Eggplant with Roasted Red Pepper Coulis. Our Annual Meeting and dessert follow and we will then dance the night away.
Registration will be open until November 27th, 7:00p. After that time you will no longer be able to register. If you have registred, thanks for registering for the Holiday Dinner. Also, please be aware that Tony Suppa and Phyllis Lodata-Suppa are kindly collecting donations of canned and dried foods for area food banks. Remember to bring nonperishable items like pasta, rice, cereal and canned items such as vegetables, beans, tuna, cooking oil, etc.
Proper attire is required by Stamford Yacht Club which is business casual. Jackets are encouraged but not required. Gentlemen are required to wear collared shirts. Shirts, blouses, dresses or slacks are appropriate for women. Blue jeans, cargo-style, excessively loose-fitting, athletic or worn, torn or faded pants are not permitted. Hats or caps are not allowed in the Dining Room.
Voting for the election of officers and changes to the bylaws will be held at the annual meeting. The nominations committee has worked to establish a slate of candidates and nominations are now closed.
If you cannot attend the meeting and would like to vote, click on the small illustration of the form on the left. This will download a PDF file that is both electronic and manual. To use electronically, you can click on the fileds to either vote for the nominees listed or type in a name for any position of your choosing. Directions: The Stamford Yacht Club is located on the Shippan Point section of Stamford, which is south of I-95. From I-95, take Exit 8 from either direction. From the southbound side, follow the ramp to the end, keeping left and then turn left onto Elm St. From the northbound side, follow the ramp to the bottom and continue straight onto S State St, keeping to the right but continuing straight through the next intersection. Follow S State St to the next intersection and then turn right onto Elm St.
Follow Elm St for just over .2 of a mile and then turn right onto Jefferson St (Myrtle Ave is to the left). Go a short distance on Jefferson St and turn left onto Magee Ave. Continue on Magee Ave to the second traffic light and then continue straight onto Shippan Ave. On Shippan Ave, proceed a little over .8 of a mile and turn right onto Ocean Dr W. Follow Ocean Dr W to the Yacht Club on the right.
